Radeon HD 7990, the Fastest GPU for 2013

On their graphics update conference, AMD confirmed that their flagship chip, the Radeon HD 7990 is their best and will be the fastest offering, at least up to the end of the year. They believe that ASUS Ares 2 HD 7990, the current world's fastest graphic card, will stay the fastest. No plans to replace this one anytime soon.

AMD also said that there will be an update coming on 2H of 2013. But, the upcoming product will not be a dual-chip high performance graphics or a replacement for the 7990.

This definitely the correct time to pick one Radeon HD 7990 from the selves. ASUS Ares 2, anyone?
