24/7 Wall Street: BlackBerry Will Bankrupt in 2015
24/7 Wall Street, a US based analyst firm said that BlackBerry is among the 10 brands that will disappear in 2015. On of the reason is because the market now prefers iOS or Android smartphone.
The fall in sales, continued losses also hit the company.
Currently they are developing QNX platform and it is starting to get into the health and automotive world. But it was not able to save the company's business.
The last five years, BlackBerry's business is steadily declining. Their global market share, peaked at about 19.5 percent, now only less than 1 percent left.
At this rate, the prediction looks reasonable. But hopefully not.
