Cheap Computer and Tablet for Indonesian Teacher

Republic Indonesia's Teachers Union (PGRI), Intel, and Spektra collaborate to provide special priced computers and tablets for the teachers that joined PGRI. The program, called Pirandu Guru (Piranti Edukasi untuk Guru) launched in Semarang, and will be implemented on other cities in Indonesia.


Besides affordable, the teachers can also used a friendly payment scheme and quick approval. Spektra is one of the leading finance company in Indonesia, while Intel has plans improve Indonesian's competitiveness by expanding computing technology to the broader market, including all of the teachers in the country.

The computers and tablets are made by Asus, Acer, Lenovo and SpeedUp while Microsoft supports the OS.
