Users Start to Leave Twitter

Yesterday Twitter has just reported their earnings for Q4 2015. Too bad, it wasn't a good news.
 

In the last three months of last year, they didn't managed to increase their user base. If we remove the users that use the service via SMS, Twitter lost around 2 million users.

Currently the company has 305 million monthly active users. A lot, eh? Turned out, it is not. The number was reduced from 307 million from the previous quarter. Here is the growth trend of the popular micro blogging service:



This is the first ever decline on a quarterly basis for Twitter. Hopefully also the last. If not, maybe we will see another giant social media company fading away.
