Facebook Forces Users to Install Messenger
After a successful test of Facebook Messenger in Europe, Facebook looked like all of their users to install the app on their mobile device, accompanying the Facebook app. In the upcoming weeks, they will enable this update to more users, worldwide.
Currently, Facebook claimed that they have already 200 million Facebook Messenger users, monthly. And they want the number to be increased. The social media company said that the separation of chat feature from the social media app is to make the Facebook Messenger to be the best mobile messaging application ever.
Previously, Path has done the same thing. Separating the chat function on their app and released Path Talk.
Have tried the messenger app for a while and uninstalled. Sorry, no chat feature, no more chat using the service. I'm back to the old Yahoo Messenger, WhatsApp and BBM.
