Indonesia's Q2 2014 Smartphone Market

In the second quarter of 2014, Advan surpasses Smartfren as the second largest phone/smartphone manufacturer in Indonesia, a country that dominated by Samsung products.

Advan and Smartfren are local brands that uses other manufacturer's device, often called with white brand, and sell them under their brands. Both of them are followed by Evercoss, previously known as Cross.

For global vendor, the manufacturers that gain some share compared to the previous quarter in Indonesia are Oppo, LG, and Nokia. One of the most significant is ASUS who sold around 200k phone in the quarter.
Too bad the data doesn't provide any details. Are the numbers are including smartphone and phablet, GSM and CDMA, keypad and touchscreen based devices, and what screen size. Maybe combination of all of them.
