Tri to Provide 4G Service in Q1 2016
Tri, a brand from Hugtchison Tri Indonesia, the remaining GSM operator in the country that haven't provide 4G service is aiming to launch their LTE service in the near future.
According to their Senior Media and PR Manager, they will start to run 4G service in 6 cities in Indonesia.
Just like the other former GSM operators, Tri will held their LTE service on 1800 and 2100MHz band.
For your information, the other operator, Telkomsel, XL, and Indosat have finished their refarming work on 1800MHz band on the last quarter of 2015 and launched their 4G network all over the country.
Tri is the last one to do this. We can count Axis off since user can switch to XL if they need the 4G connectivity.
